Other changes
Monster spawn locations have been changed or added for Langk Lizardmen (Gludin), Blood Bees (Floran), Turek Orcs (Gludin), Harpies and Medusas (Giran), Banor Silenos (Aden), as well as monsters in the Forest of Mirrors and Blazing Swamp.
Traveling through Blazing Swamp will cause lava damage.
The Monster Race Track was added south of Dion.
Town maps were placed in starting towns. Players can click them to view a map of the town.
Stars are now visible at night.
The areas around Baium and Zaken spawn points are marked as no-restart zones. If a player does not log back in within 10 minutes of logging out in one of these zones, they are automatically moved to the nearest town.
Castles
Innadril was added as the sixth castle.
Structural changes to the castles of Gludio, Oren, Dion and Giran:
Destructible walls have been added.
Special locations for placing traps have been added.
Mark rooms now resemble those in Aden Castle (the original note is unclear).
Thrones have been added to all castles and can be used for sitting.
Only a limited amount of Adena can be withdrawn from the castle treasury at one time.
A siege camp may be placed only once within a specified time period.
Manor system
What is the manor system?
Castle owners can sell seeds that players use to gather crops. Castle owners can then use the harvested crops to produce items for sale.
Selling seeds
The type of seed determines the type of crop.
Castle owners decide which seeds to sell and in what quantities.
The greater the number of seeds for sale, the lower the price.
Castle owners set the production tax rate for seeds through the Castle Treasure NPC.
If the castle treasury does not contain enough Adena, seed production for that day is canceled entirely.
Seeds cannot be sold on castle siege days.
Buying seeds
Players can purchase seeds from Manor System Manager NPCs in every town.
The number of seeds that may be purchased is limited.
Proceeds from seed sales and any unsold seeds are automatically deposited in the castle treasury at the end of the day.
Growing and harvesting crops
Planting and harvesting works similarly to the Scavenger's Spoil and Sweep mechanics. A monster that has already been seeded cannot be seeded again or with a different
seed.
Seeded monsters drop only Adena when they die; they do not drop items.
To collect crops, purchase a Harvester in town and use it on a dead seeded monster.
Level checks apply when planting and harvesting, as with Scavenger skills.
Monsters can be both Spoiled and seeded, but the Harvester must be used before Sweep.
Buying crops
Depending on the crop type, crops may be sold only in a particular town or in any town.
Castle owners set the purchase price for crops.
All purchases are canceled immediately if the castle treasury lacks sufficient Adena.
Castle owners can offer either low or high rewards. Prices may be changed once per day.
NPC crop buyers automatically take 10% of all proceeds; the purchased crops are then used as materials for crafting.
Production
Castle owners can produce items.
The finished products are not sold to NPCs; they go to the castle owners.
Castle blacksmiths (a new feature) are used to produce items.
The quantity and type of items produced depend on investment in crop collection.
Each investment and production cycle lasts two weeks and is unaffected by a change in castle ownership. (A battle for the harvest—rise up, Children of the Corn!)
