Setting Up a Lineage 2 Helios Server

Setting up your own Lineage 2 Helios server.
Required downloads
Java — a technology used to develop applications that make working on the Internet more engaging and convenient.
MySQL 5.5 Win 64 — a database management system that will store all the server information.
Navicat — a database management tool.
Server build — Lineage 2 Helios.
System — from the list, download the system files for Helios, Lord of Bifrost.
Game client - Lineage 2 Helios, Lord of Bifrost.
Installation
Java — no explanation needed.
MySQL — see the screenshots.
Navicat — installation should be straightforward. Once installed, open Navicat and create a connection to localhost . Name the database l2helios. See the screenshots below.
Server build — extract it to a drive with plenty of free space.
Find database_installer.bat under Drive:\l2helios\tools\. Open the file (preferably in Notepad). Find the MySQL password setting and replace it with the password you configured in MySQL. Save the file.

Run database_installer.bat:
Next, go to Drive:\l2helios\game\connect and open application.properties. Find the MySQL password setting and enter the password you configured in MySQL.
In the same folder, open DataBase.properties. Find the MySQL password setting and enter the password you configured in MySQL.
Now go to Drive:\l2helios\login\config and open DataBase.properties. Find the MySQL password setting and enter the password you configured in MySQL.
You can now start the server. Go to the login folder and run StartAuthServer.bat. Then go to the game folder and run StartGameServer.bat.
System — copy the system folder into the game client directory. Once the server starts, launch l2.exe from the system folder. Enter a username and password (automatic registration is enabled).
You have successfully launched your own Lineage 2 Helios, Lord of Bifrost server to explore older versions of the game.
