Download the files
Java — a technology used to develop applications that make working on the Internet more engaging and convenient.
MySQL 5.5 Win 64 — a database management system. All server information will be stored in it.
Navicat — a database management tool.
Server build — Lineage 2 Classic.
System — download system classic: antharas 2.2 from the list.
Client — Lineage 2 Grand Crusade.
Installation
Java — no explanation needed.
MySQL — see the screenshots.
Navicat — installation should be straightforward. After installing, launch Navicat and create a connection. Name the database classic. See the screenshots below.
Server build — extract it to a drive with plenty of free space.
Open Navicat, right-click the database classic. Select Execute SQL File..., then locate the file at Drive:\classic\backup\180821162856.sql. Click Start.
Go to Drive:\classic\game\config and open Server.ini. Find the MySQL password setting and replace it with the password you specified in MySQL.
Next, go to Drive:\classic\login\config and open LoginServer.ini. Find the MySQL password setting and replace it with the password you specified in MySQL.

You can now start the server. Open the login folder and run LoginServer.exe. Open the game folder and run GameServer.exe.
System — extract it into the game client, select a language, and copy everything from the en folder to the client root directory, replacing existing files. Once the server has started, run l2.exe from the system-ru folder. Enter a username and password (automatic registration).
You have successfully started your own local Lineage 2 Classic server to explore an older version of the game.
