How to Set Up a Lineage 2 High Five Server

Setting Up a Lineage 2 High Five Server
Download the required files
Java — a technology used to develop applications that make the Internet more engaging and convenient.
MySQL 5.1 Win 64 — a database management system that will store all server information.
Navicat — a database management tool.
Server build — in my opinion, a good build to start with.
System — download the High Five system folder [protocol 273] from the list.
Game client — the Lineage 2 High Five client.
Installation
Java — no explanation needed; the installation is straightforward.
MySQL 5.1 — see the screenshots.
Navicat — installation should be straightforward. After installing, launch Navicat and create a new connection. Name the database l2ft. See the screenshots below.
Server build — extract it to a drive with plenty of free space.
Find the file ru.bat, located at Drive:\la2server\tool\ru.bat. Open it, locate the MySQL password setting, replace it with the password you configured in MySQL, and save the file.

Run ru.bat. The screenshots show the installation step by step.
Next, go to Drive:\la2server\gameserver\config and open Server.ini. Locate the MySQL password setting and replace it with the password you configured in MySQL.
Then go to Drive:\la2server\loginserver\config and open loginserver.ini. Locate the MySQL password setting and replace it with the password you configured in MySQL.
Run RegisterGameServer.bat from Drive:\la2server\loginserver. Press 2 and then Enter; enter the ID and IP address as shown in the screenshot below.
Finally, run StartAuthServer.bat and StartGameServer.bat and wait for the server to start.
System folder — copy it into the client directory, replacing all existing files. When the server has started, run l2.exe from the system folder. Enter a username and password (automatic registration).
Granting administrator privileges
Open Navicat. Find the table charactersand copy your character ID.
Then find GMAccess.xml at Drive:\la2server\gameserver\config\xml, open it, and replace the ID with your own character ID. Remember to restart the server.

Configuring Internet access
First, open ports 2106, 9014 and 7777.
Next, find your internal IP address in Network Connections: double-click your local network connection, open its properties or status details, and locate the IPv4 Address field.
Find your external IP address, for example on 2ip.ua.
Go to Drive:\la2server\gameserver\config and open Server.ini. Find ExternalHostname, InternalHostname and LoginHost, then enter your IP addresses as shown in the screenshot below.
Then go to Drive:\la2server\loginserver\config and open loginserver.ini. Find LoginHost and enter your internal IP address.
In the System find l2.ini. Open it with File Edit, locate ServerAddr, and replace its value with your external IP address.

You have successfully launched your own Lineage 2 High Five home server for exploring older versions of the game.
